Welcome to the Friends of the Library Booksale Site

Here you will find information about:

  • Donating books for the sales -- we accept books @ the Library.
  • Volunteering to sort books for the sales -- we are a friendly bunch, and could use your help!
  • Volunteering to sell books during the sales -- even if you can't work most of the year.
  • Shopping at the sales -- hours, location, prices...

Friends of the Timothy C Hauenstein Reynolds Township Library, founded in 2006, is a not-for-profit organization for people interested in books and libraries. The purpose is to stimulate public interest in the library, purchase library materials, and support other cultural and educational programs in Montcalm County.

Please pick up a membership form at the Timothy C Hauenstein Reynolds Township Library or you can also print a form from this site.

Each year the Friends of the Timothy C Hauenstein Reynolds Township Library hold a Spring and Fall Book Sale. The Spring Sale will have more than 5,000 selections while the Fall Sale will have 4,000 selections!

New and used books (fiction/nonfiction for adults & children), tapes, audio books, records, software, CDs, games, posters, and puzzles are sold inexpensively. 85% of the items are donated by people in our community, with the remainder from the Library.

Volunteers sort the books and records and help man the Sale.
